AFFIRMATIONS CAN HELP YOU CHANGE THE WAY YOU THINK
ABOUT YOURSELF AND THE WORLD!
Negative thinking is now being noted by the medical field
to be a primary cause of our major illnesses and diseases!
Affirmations can help you change the way you think, therefore, bringing greater mental and physical
health into your world.
The
more you say them the more powerful they become!
Writing them down at night in a journal about a half hour before you go to sleep helps reinforce them into the subconscious
mind through your handwriting.
Another effective way to do affirmations is to say them in front of a mirror. Mirror work is so important to really
get the full effect of the affirmations. I suggest saying them in front of a mirror in the morning and evening, as well as
throughout the day if you find yourself plagued with negative thoughts, worry, anxiety and/or doubt.
The most important affirmation one can say is "I LOVE YOU"
- this is probably the hardest one to master and may feel uncomfortable at first, but once you can truly begin to love yourself
all else is possible! If you don't feel capable of starting with "I Love You", then you might want to begin with
"I Am Beginning To Love You".
To help fight anxiety and fear of the unknown practice: "I am in charge
of my own life", "All is well in my world!", "I am Safe".
To
increase self confidence and acceptance: "I accept myself just as I Am. Just as I Am is enough. I am good enough just
as I Am and within that knowledge I accept myself completely!"
To
stay focused in the present moment and to stop worrying about when something is going to happen: "Everything comes to
me in it's own perfect time", "All is well ","I stay focused in the moment".
To
truly reach a level of fulfillment one should practice: "I am loved and loving", "My life is filled with love
and joy", "I am perfectly content for I know everything comes to me in it's own perfect time" .
You may combine any of these affirmations. These are just a few basic ones
to start with.
"Every
thought you think and every word you speak is an affirmation. Even your self-talk, your internal dialogue, is a stream of
affirmations. Your beliefs are merely habitual thinking patterns that you learned as a child, and many of them work very well
for you. But other beliefs may be limiting your ability to create the very things you say you want. You must pay attention
to your thoughts so that you can begin to eliminate the ones creating experiences that you don't want. Affirmations are solutions
that will replace whatever problem you might have in a particular area"-Louise Hay / http://www.louisehay.com
