HYPNOTHERAPY WHY CHOOSE HYPNOTHERAPY?
Simply,
because hypnotherapy works! With Hypnosis you can access the subconscious mind where your past experiences
(we like to call it your
'life script") are stored to discover the core issues causing the symptoms, such as; stress, anxiety,
depression, insomnia,
chronic pain, fears, phobias, sexual dysfunction, procrastination, weight gain or loss, and much more.
WHAT IS HYPNOSIS?
HYPNOSIS is a therapeutic modaltiy that has been approved by the American Medical Association
as a valid treatment for
dozens of issues since the mid 1950's.
Hypnosis is actually a consensual state of heightened focused concentration combined with
deep physical relaxation allowing
access to the subconscious mind effecting positive change and improvement. In other words, you are mentally focused
and
aware of what is going on, and your body is deeply relaxed in a comfortable state of calm. The power of hypnosis can create
rapid
change,
more so than other traditional therapies, and help you achieve your self-improvement goals.
WILL I LOSE CONTROL
or CAN IT HARM ME?
Absolutely NOT! Hypnosis
is completely safe! Before each hypnotherapy session, you and the therapist will cognitively go over your
goals and desires for
the session. Then the therapist will formulate the "client-specific suggestions" based on your discussion, given
to
you
under the hypnotic state. More importantly, hypnosis can not make you do anything that goes against your morals or belief
system
or harm you in anyway.
ARE
PHONE/SKYPE SESSIONS JUST AS EFFECTIVE?
Yes,
phone and/or Skype sessions are just as effective as office visits. The sessions are conducted in the exact same manner as
'in-office'
sessions. The only difference being, that I ask for simple verbal cues to let me know you are in trance and following
my ques. Where in
the office I would ask you to nod your head or raise a finger.
WHAT
IF I DON'T WAKE UP?
Contrary to popular belief
hypnosis is not a sleep state. It is a state of FOCUSED concentration where you are physically relaxed and
mentally focused. Most
clients remember a majority of what goes on during the hypnotic induction, and report a great sense of calm
and comfort.
WHAT IF I CAN NOT BE HYPNOTISED?
Everyone can be hypnotized. When most
people think about hypnosis, they think about what is depicted in films and/or television where
the person is completely unconscious
and sometimes out of control. You are always in control during the sessions. Whenever you move
from an outward perception to an inner
awareness, you enter trance. It is a state of mindfulness that can happen when your eyes are open.
There are array of techniques that induce
trance.

THERAPEUTIC
GUIDED IMAGERY
Our mind learns through images and symbols. This is what makes Guided Imagery so powerful. It's the symbolic language
of ourmind. As a facilitator I am extensively trained in deciphering your own special symbolic language to create rapid and abundant. I use Guided Imagery in every session. Even the most blocked clients find that they are able to tap into their creative side and gain tremendous thera-peutic benefits from the imagery.
Guided Imagery and Chronic Pain: Pain has meaning! Its purpose is to call attention
to something that's wrong, whether
the problem is physical or psychological. Often my clients come up with vivid images and colors
to describe or represent their pain:
a black whole swallowing them, a sharp knife sticking them in the area of the pain, a twisting
of the muscles, a giant bolder on their
chest etc. These images can be used to interpret the pain, understand
its origins and to discover how to manage it. The process of
guided imagery also promotes relaxation, a
key ingredient in pain and stress management. Since stress is a key
factor in many cases
to 'chronic pain' the
guided imagery serves a dual purpose.
Guided
Imagery and Healing: The medical field is now recognizing the mind body connection thanks to
great pioneers
such as; Dr. Marty Rossman, Dr. Christine Northrope, Dr. Bernie Siegel and Dr. Belle Ruth Naperstek.
The benefits of therapeutic
imagery in reference
to rapid as well as spontaneous healing is now continuously studied
and noted among the medical community.
Many
major hospitals such as UCLA and Northridge in Los Angeles offer Guided Imagery Groups for their patients.
Guided Imagery and Self Discovery: Guided
imagery can also be used to unlock hidden talents and help clients learn who they
truly are. Many of my clients have
experienced profound self discoveries through imagery journey's, and they have reached a higher
level of self-knowledge bringing
forth greater self esteem, clearer future goals, and a greater sense of self and inner peace.
Guided Imagery and Children: Children LOVE to use Guided Imagery.
They do it every day in their imagination. I am able to reach
my young clients through this powerful modality opening up an entire
world to them and helping them deal with their symptoms and issues.

NEUROTHERAPY
Neurotherapy incorporates Neurofeedback or EEG Biofeedback to effectively recondition
the brain to change certain brain patterns.
Neurofeedback has primarily been used in the past to treat ADD and ADHD, but in recent years
this therapy has expanded with great
success. Especially in the area of treating addiction and Post Traumatic Stress (PTSD).
What is Neurofeedback or EEG Biofeedback?
It is literally brainwave biofeedback. During typical training one or two electrodes,
connected
to a PC interface, are connected to specific sites on the scalp, with a reference electrode connected to an earlobe. Heart
rate,
temperature,
skin conductance and breathing are also measured. The electrodes measure the electrical activity (frequency) in the brain
–
much
like a doctor listens to the heart from the surface of your skin. No electrical current is put into the brain. By using
simple training
techniques, brainwave activity is changed.
When it reaches a desired level (frequency and amplitude), the computer program provides "feedback,"
usually in an aural or visual form.
The brain begins to crave this feedback and changes its function toward this preferable
brainwave activity. The mechanism of the action is
called operant conditioning – literally reconditioning and training
the brain. It is the cerebral equivalent of going to a gym and working
out.
Additionally, adding Alpha-Theta training to standard “talk” therapy is a powerful
tool for addressing early childhood traumas, be-
havioral problems, attachment issues, learned fears, phobias
and excessive habits. Alpha-theta training allows clients to process and resolve
deep psychological issues
from traumatic events without re-experiencing them emotionally. This has been particularly evident in PTSD cases.

NLP (NEURO-LINGUISTIC PROGRAMMING)
Is a highly effective modality for behavior modification. It
allows you to change, adopt or eliminate behaviors, as you desire, and
gives
you the ability to choose your mental,
emotional, and physical states of well-being. It is the language of our minds and how we produce
outcome.
NLP was initially created in the 1970's by Richard Bandler, a student
of mathematics and Gestalt Therapy and John Grinder, a Professor
of Linguistics. They began modeling and duplicating the results of
a few to communicators and therapist such as hypnotist Milton
Erickson
and Fritz Perls. Today many others
continue to contribute to the growth and development of the field.
NLP broken down:
Neuro: The nervous system (the mind), through
which our experience is processed via five senses:
- Visual
- Auditory
- Kinesthetic
- Olfactory
- Gustatory
Linguistic: Language and other nonverbal communication systems through which our neural representations
are coded, ordered and given meaning.
Includes:
- Pictures
- Sounds
- Feelings
- Tastes
- Smells
- Words (Self Talk)
Programming: The ability to discover and utilize
the programs that we run (our communication to ourselves and others) in our
neurological systems to achieve our specific
and desired outcomes.

RELATIONAL CONSTELLATION
The Constellation approach shows new
and unique discoveries about the source of suffering and the subsequent path to healing our love and relationships. This information has been discovered in the last
decade through the practice
of Relational Constellations as developed by Bert Hellinger, an internationally renowned therapist.
From working with hundreds of Relational Constellations,
Bert Hellinger has discovered these previously hidden structures, the so-called Codes, or Orders of Love. The Relational Constellations
have made visible these previously hidden forces which operate in our relational life. A completely new source of knowledge about
love has thus come to our attention. The Codes of Love are relation- ship determining patterns which influence the success or failure
of love relationships. They are a kind of “underlying truth” about relationships. The Codes have revealed the importance of belonging, bonding as well
as giving and taking in successful relationships.
An example of such a Code of Love is that
children, out of blind love for their parents, may unknowingly live out the fate of an earlier family member. They may sacrifice their own destiny and sometimes even
their own life. The Relational Constellation Process aims to uncover these disruptions and entanglements so that all members of
the family can find their own strength, dignity,
love and purpose within the context of family belonging. Love is the guiding principle used for finding a resolution. Profound healing of emotional problems, family conflicts,
and physical illnesses often result.
This approach can be used to not only resolve interpersonal or
systemic issues like entangled love, but also to explore personal issues related to physical illness, split off parts of the Self, management issues, organizational issues, and so on.
Some particular areas frequently addressed effectively with
constellations include: - Physical
or emotional health issues
- Issues still active
from previous generations
- Divorce
- Trauma
- Adoptions
- Miscarriages and abortions
- The exclusion of family members
- Conflict between family members
- Interpersonal
or systemic family issues
- Early death, loss,
and family secrets
- Personal issues, e.g., depression,
anxiety, etc.
- Survivors of war experience and their
families

EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique - Meridian
Tapping) What is EFT?EFT is often called emotional acupuncture because it combines gentle tapping on key acupuncture
points while focusing your thoughts on pain, unhappy
memories, uncomfortable emotions, food cravings, or any other problem. When properly done, the underlying emotional factors that contribute to the problem are typically released along
with the energy blocks. EFT
is a powerful new method based on the discovery that emotional trauma contributes greatly to disease. Scientific studies have shown that EFT is able to rapidly reduce the emotional impact of
memories and incidents that trigger emotional distress.
Once the distress is reduced or removed, the body can often rebalance itself, and accellerate healing. Here's how you can experience this for yourself:You can make enormous strides by introducing EFT into your emotional therapy
process (whether you are a professional or a client).
Instead of taking months or years using conventional "talk therapy," EFT often does the job for you cleanly
and thoroughly in one or two sessions
... and we sometimes achieve noticeable results in a few brief rounds of EFT. We label these near-instant results as "one minute wonders." Once you have seen how well EFT clears out emotional debris, your next step is to
notice how physical ailments start to
fade. Headaches, back pains and other discomforts often tend to improve or vanish as emotional issues improve (this
is the essence of Mind Body Medicine). Your vision
may become clearer and everyday stress may take less toll on your system.Accordingly, you can apply it to just about everything. That is one of the most astonishing things about it. You
use the same basic procedure for your fear of public
speaking as you do for improving your golf score. Further, people write on this site on their success with EFT for many emotional issues, including fear, trauma, depression, and
grief. Not only
can EFT improve psychological problems, it can improve physical symptoms too. How is that possible? There is a strong association between
emotional stress and disease. A study of 17,421 adults performed by a hospital chain, Kaiser Permanente, and the CDC (Centers for Disease Control) looked at the relationship between
their adverse childhood experiences (ACE) and disease.
ACEs were events like the divorce of their par- ents, an incarcerated parent, or an addicted parent. The ACE study found that those who had the highest amount of emotional trauma as
children had higher rates of many diseases as adults.
Those diseases included cancer, heart disease, high blood pressure, obesity, and diabetes. The authors of the study likened the medical establishment to fire fighters who direct all their water at the
smoke (physical disease), while ignoring the flames
underneath (unresolved emotional trauma). *** The above informationw was

(Possible
EFT limitations:EFT is not perfect. We don't have a 100% success rate. But it usually works well and the results
are sometimes spectacular. EFT can often achieve substantial
relief with little or no pain. This is not true for everyone, however. Some people's issues are so intense that the mere
mention of them causes emotional or physical pain.
But, given time, even these may be resolved efficiently with EFT. If you have serious emotional or physical problems you
are advised to consult your physician or licensed
mental health practitioner, since EFT is not a substitute for medical or mental health treatment. You are encouraged you
to share your experiences with EFT with your healthcare providers.) | |
